My parents and Elspeth stayed with us for a week then the kids and I went with them to Iowa to visit my brother and his family. Brandan unfortunately had to stay home and work :-( I packed lots of things for the kids to do in the car to keep them entertained. Some things even entertained Elspeth :-) we went through three states and made some stops along the way. We saw a cool dinosaur van at a museum ( we didn't go inside the museum) we stopped at a train museum the kids loved, and we went to winter quarters where the kids got to be pioneer children. They were really cute but would have been no help of we had to pull that handcart! Lol! It took us two days to get to Iowa and we all survived without killing each other :-) success!!
