We went camping right after Cooper graduated from kindergarten. We went up to hidden lake. and when I say we went up I mean we went UP! The elevation is at about 8500 feet! And of course me thinking oh its hot in Moab and not knowing the elevation just packed shorts and light coats for myself and the kids. Luckily Quinn had pants for her jammies, plus two extra pairs of stretch pants in my trunk for emergencies. So Quinn wore two pairs of pants and Cooper wore the black pair of stretch pants under his shorts. It all worked out. All of us had lots of fun regardless of the wind and chill. The kids both learned how to fish and loved it. It was hard to get Coop away from that lake! We went on a couple short walks and played lots of hide and seek! It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. We are already discussing future camping trips :-)
